The government needs that money to but more $600 toilet seats. #8 - You believe the price of real estate is going to drop suddenly because scientists are right on the verge of being able to create more of it out of recycled egg cartons.#7 - It is comforting to have someone help you make some of life's important decisions...like what kind of pets to have, whether to have children, etc.#6 - It forces you to keep a cleaner house, knowing that your landlord could drop in at any time to inspect his property.#5 - You are convinced your landlord is secretly putting all your rent payments in a special savings account for your retirement. #4 - It makes you feel special to be a guest in your own home.#3 - You know that when you die, your kids won't quarrel over how to divide up your fifty years of rent receipts.#2 - You enjoy the constant parade of transient neighbors who are always moving in and out of your apartment building.#1 - You are not convinced there will always be a demand for Real Estate. Sure, shelter is popular now - but what if it goes out of style like bell bottoms?
